 TerraGens Riserva 2004 has conquered the Gran Menzione at the Oenological International Contest organized by Vinitaly. It is the first time that this reward is obtained by the Sangiovese Superiore Riserva. The Forlì Igt had, in the other hand, already achieved it within all vintages up to now produced: 2000, 2001 and 2003.
Presented in preview to the contest, TerraGens Riserva 2004 is completing its refinement in the bottle, before being commercialized within the next months.
It is about the 15th edition of the Oenological International Contest, organized by Veronafiere, which gathers 21 commissions integrated by the most authoritative international journalists as well as highly qualified oenologist, for a total of 105 experts, called to evaluate the samples coming from 31 countries.
The competition is considered a kind of “world cup” of the wine sector, for the producing cellars and adjoins to the work, from the moment in which attributes only 88 medals distributed in 22 categories, representing only the 3% of the presented wines.
There are not manifestations in the world, attached to the International Federation of the Great International Contests with headquarters in Montreal, Canada, which can brag these supremacies.
